Types of Hair Extensions

We use 100% natural human hair for all our hair extensions and we offer three different methods for application. Read more about the different methods we offer, the difference between Russian and European hair, and contact us or message us on Whatsapp if you have any questions or to book your free consultation. Our experienced stylists can assess your hair type, discuss your desired results, and recommend the best type of hair extensions for you.

Tape-ins

A great option for thinner hair if you’re looking to add volume as well as length. Tape-in extensions use a medical-grade adhesive instead of heat or bonds, so they’re super gentle on natural hair. The wefts are thin and lightweight, making them super discreet as they blend seamlessly with natural hair - virtually undetectable! With proper care and maintenance, they can be re-used for up to a year.

Micro Rings

A popular choice for adding length, volume, or both. For these extensions we attach individual strands of extensions to natural hair using tiny metal rings to create a seamless blend. We also use minimal heat for the application, minimising potential damage. Micro rings may not be suitable for extremely fine or fragile hair though, due to the weight of the extensions, so Whatsapp us for a free consultation to make sure they’re right for you.

Keratin Bonds

Instant transformation: Our high-quality keratin bond hair extensions deliver dramatic length and volume and seamlessly blend with your natural hair. We use a protein-based adhesive that mimics the hair's structure, minimising heat damage and chemicals. If your hair is super fine or prone to breakage, keratin bonds might not be the ideal choice, so contact us for a free consulation to discuss other options.

Russian or European hair?

Russian hair extensions are typically pricier because they offer a touch more density. This makes them perfect for adding volume and length to mid-to-thick hair types without appearing bulky.

European hair extensions are slightly finer than Russian hair, making them amazing for seamlessly blending into fine texture hair. They’re ideal for fine to medium hair, as they blend in without weighing down natural strands. European hair can also be naturally wavy which gives them a beautiful bounce and texture.

Still not sure? Our stylists can help you choose the perfect match for your natural hair and desired style. Message us on Whatsapp with any questions or to book your free consultation and we’ll guide you through the process.
